This credential is part of the Skilled Trades & Transportation career field. Skilled-trade and transportation licensing exams cover commercial driving (CDL by the FMCSA and state DMVs), HVAC refrigerant handling (EPA Section 608, NATE), electrical journeyman/master licensure, plumbing, welding (AWS) and OSHA construction-safety credentialing. Each is administered by a federal agency or trade body with a state-issued license layered on top.
